It's always important to invest in a strong office wardrobe. Even if you're just on Zoom all day you still need to look presentable; it shows you respect yourself. When I was in college, I went to hospitality school by the way, one of my professors said, "Never wear black to a meeting because you'll just blend in; never blend in. Be the girl in the red suit or the white suit. You'll be impossible to forget." And I will never forget this. I have purchased some great blazers and boy do I feel like people remember me. How can you forget the girl in the pink blazer? Never blend in ladies; that not what we are here to do.
A strong outfit really reflects in the persona you are. You can still express yourself through fashion in the workplace. Don't be just another girl in a black suit. Think of the scene from legally blonde where Elle Woods is walking up the stairs of the capital and she's the only one with color. She stands out!
